Canadian Custom USB Flash Drives

At CFgear, our list of international contacts is growing every single day. We have a staggering number of requests coming in from all across the globe … From West Samoa to the Cayman Islands, and everywhere in between! Our neighbors to the north in Canada are no exception. One of our loyal, long time clients in Alberta is DataCan. We recently finished a project for them, and checked in with them to see how the USB flash drives went over.
DataCan is a Canadian producer of top quality, state-of-the-art tools for use in extreme subsurface applications. Their products are used internationally in locations from Australia, China, and the Middle East to Brazil, Peru and Ecuador. We asked our contacts to tell us a little about what the custom flash drives are typically used for. As it turns out, CFgear’s Exactmatch USB drives are used to, “distribute software and product information” to their many customers. They then went on to say:
“Most of our products are used for gathering data, so the flash drive is a handy way to store and transport data. We have also used [the Exactmatch] to distribute marketing material as a free giveaway to important potential customers at trade shows”
Our Exactmatch flash drive has been utilized by thousands of clients including Cornell University, Wells Fargo, PepsiCo and Allstate, but we were curious if there were any specific reasons that DataCan decided to use our drives, and their answer might surprise you! DataCan initially used 3.5” CDs for the same purpose, but the CDs were easily damaged. In fact, they went on to tell us that the CDs were frequently broken in transit to their customers rendering them useless. Just one more reason that CFgear’s USB drives are second to none!
We’re looking forward to starting on the next project for them soon, and we’re sure our personalized flash drives will continue to be a successful addition to their product line.
