college students use flash drivesWhen attending freshmen orientation, a first-time college student is often overloaded with paperwork on a lot of useful information and even a good bit of useless information. It is shoved into a folder with the college’s logo, name, and information printed on the front. It is probably also going to be shoved somewhere in their dorm room serving no purpose. Most students don’t want to deal with searching through pages of paperwork to find the one, simple thing they were looking for.

Another alternative for colleges and universities would be to organize all of the information into folders on a flash drive. Information that would be important to a new student could include a directory listing of all offices, a campus map showing buildings and student parking lots, a class schedule, and even course information. Students also want to know where different restaurants, vending bars, and soda machines are located. This could perhaps be some of the most important information to a college freshmen. Lists of foods offered and even their prices could also be provided.

Students should also be aware of all that their college has to offer. Organizations, fraternities, and sororities could be included with contact numbers and e-mails. Information about the health center and tutoring services could be listed. The student has probably already chosen a college based on other factors. However, by providing them with many different available options, the college can ensure that the student is able to succeed and experience many different things throughout their several years of attendance.

CFgear flash drives can be purchased in many different colors with the college’s name and logo even printed or engraved on them. After receiving the flash drive during freshmen orientation, the student can use it over the years and, upon graduation, find new uses for it.

The recent graduate will probably need to provide a portfolio of their work and resume to any potential employer. By having all of this organized on the CFgear flash drive, the graduate can simply plug it into a computer during an interview to impress the employer with all of his/her previous work. By having all of the work saved in one convenient location that can easily be transported, the graduate can increase his/her chances of using the degree that they worked so hard to earn.
