Customized USBattalion Drive

I’m glad to admit it. I’m a big kid. But heck, there’s no harm in that right? Not unless you’re trying to keep up with actual kids anyway. That was exactly the case the other night when my son had a handful of friends over for a belated birthday celebration complete with some Air Soft combat.

If you’re not familiar with the modern-day BB gun, it’s in general called Air Soft. Brilliant term for a weapon that can and does hurt every bit as much as a BB gun depending on the “ummmffff” otherwise referred to as FPS (feet per second). Reminds me of how savvy I think the term flash drive actually is. A marked improvement not just in the name but in the functionality of a data disk or floppy disk. Data disk sounds disgustingly boring. And there’s nothing more unimpressively sounding than the word floppy. Hard to imagine CFgear being the experts at customized floppy drives ya know. So kudos to the term flash drive. I can assure you I find greater joy in proclaiming that CFgear is the leader in delivering the most premium customized flash drive services and solutions.

Hmmm. Now back to the birthday party. The “kids” played a few rounds out on the fringe of town while I sat back by “home base” (the car) and played the unofficial referee role. Man was that adultishly boring. So I naturally came up with an excuse that we needed to even out the teams since it was three on two.

Well I darted home, excitingly threw on some dark clothes, and headed back to pick up the “kids” for a change of venue. This time we ventured back into town to a park nearby our house. Somewhere in the midst of the near-midnight darkness, well after a few solid hours of innocent combat, I quickly realized how sweet it was to be dashing around, playing, hiding, just plain being a kid again.

Yet all good things have an ending and, well, I was getting tired and the birthday cake was still waiting to be gobbled up back home. So I delivered the news that it was time to end the round and head back home. Of course, the kids were trying to get confirmation that they could come back for another round after cake. I knew that wasn’t a very high probability so I decided to play a little sneakaroo on ‘em. I nonchalantly informed the kids that I was going to go get my son’s loading tools (needed to load his AirSoft gun) that he left at the bottom of the hill. Once I was out of sight from the pack, I sprinted over to the opposite side of the hill and started firing away. And that’s the point at which it became an all out battle of kids vs. “the adult”. Yikes! I count my blessings that I didn’t have a heart attack during one of the umpteen miles of running I did to avoid the “soft” barrage of plastic ammo.

When it was all over, the kids no doubt were victorious. After catching my breath and wiping the last drops of sweat off my brow, I silently gave thanks to all those brave young men and women that sacrifice so much to fight real battles. Their dedication to securing America’s freedom helps allow ordinary folks like me to focus on being a kid again…and, of course, being there for all those looking for a trustworthy, customized flash drive partner!
