Nine Fine Irishmen Equals One Irish Jigabyte
Day 3 of the CES and outside of Sling and Ilya’s (the inventor!) impressively innovative iShoes stealing the show in the Sands Casino Convention Area (a lot of s’s, i’s and c’s!!!), there wasn’t much to be amazed or even inspired about in the world of electronics.
We had the good fortune of being able to meet some of our strategic partners at the show. We talked about one thing mostly - how to offer our customers the most premium, best value-oriented custom usb flash drives? While the glitz and glamor of the show tempts me to think the answers lay somewhere in the midst of the next big “thing” as it relates to technology/electronics, I am confident there is no substitute for the personal touch.
I’m sure there’s nuggets of good insight that I’ll be able to decipher as we’re flying up up and away from the land of attention overload, but I can comfortably proclaim after having conquered Day 3 of CES 2008, technology only works if it works for you. Point being there’s a whole lot of “possibilities” out there, what “this or that” bit o’ new technology can do for, but if it’s not solving a current problem or able to enhance your life(style), then why bother.
Despite the hohumness of day 3, a new acquaintance from Gartner Research that I met last evening at a “flash” industry party reinforced was able to offer a ray of light. He said, and I know for a fact that you can hire ‘em to give you all the “facts” in a ten bazillion page report, that flash drive usage is continuing to climb impressively.
That’s great news for CFgear. Greater news for our clients looking for a trusted custom/branded usb flash drive provider. And while the internet affords consumers today “many an option”, I think a few sips of my Jameson Whiskey helped enable a flavorful answer to the question “why so many enjoy choosing CFgear”. It was as if my forefathers were smiling as we slowly found our way upstairs to a seat at the Nine Fine Irishmen bar…a seat positioned perfectly for me to read the wisdom on the wall.
In fact, in between the brilliant talent on display (sorry, I didn’t catch your name?!??!) who was gracing us all with her precise and passionate clogging (jigging), a quote from Thomas Francis Meagher screamed its truth to me. Sure. None of our custom flash drive projects to date have involved any real “danger”, but when we get that all-too-common frantic phone call from someone in search of a professional, dependable, solid company to help bring their custom flash drive project alive feasibly and precisely, we have proven time and time again our leadership ability…our ability to disarm the stress levels and inspire trust with our “Come follow me” expertise, insight and actions!
