The “No Government Bailout Required” USB Drive
While we’re far from the adversity millions faced during the Dirty 30’s, the U.S. economy isn’t exactly as inspiring as the fall colors. I’d love to have the opportunity to sit down with the likes of an Alan Greenspan over a glass of wine and discuss how it is we’re in this giant pickle. Ok, so maybe having a talk with good ol’ Greenspan would require that I consume a few bottles of wine just so I could have a chance to stumble into the same intellectual dimension as former Mr. Economy himself. But ya know what, I’m not so sure even if this predicament would’ve surfaced during his tenure that a solution could be brought to the table that didn’t perplex a sea of “common man” taxpayers like me.

If you haven’t picked up on the hint already, I really must admit something – I am less than genius when it comes to financial matters. It’s why they don’t let me touch the all-powerful pricing calculator ‘round here. But being a part of a super genius team of customized flash drive gurus organically exposes me to a diverse range of industries every day. So regardless of whether I can fully comprehend the financial crisis our nation currently faces, I am very aware of the countless rising-sun companies I firmly believe make our economy the most stable in the world.
Of course, CFgear can’t take credit for the pioneering spirit found in so many of our clients. Yet we do see and are inspired by how very real, refined, and expert the products and services our clients offer are. It’s these tangible examples of untouchable professionalism that make me all the more confident in the USA economy. I realize many say the American economy is dangerously based too much on blue sky and speculation, but I was reminded softly by one of my good friends over at Daktronics (another “from the South Dakota prairie” company!…and the world leader in programmable electronic signs!!) that America remains “the” force for manufacturing, for much of the “iron” that holds its value during the tumultuous financial times.
Perhaps we all just need to stop depending on government bailouts to cover for our own shortcomings. And I don’t say that without empathizing with the “not so genius when it comes to financial matters” folks that I admittedly included myself a part of earlier. We need to, I need to start taking responsibility for not paying attention to the downside, to all the facts…including the small print.
Maybe next time before mindlessly signing away dozens of interest only paperwork in order to move on in next to the house that the Jones’ family “shouldn’t” have been able to afford in the first place (yes, of course, I’m holding the lenders responsible too), we need to ask for, review and ponder ALL the facts…on the nation’s first “No Bailout Required” branded flash drive. Hah! That’s it! I’m officially marketing bulk flash drives for sale that come preloaded with the fundamental “do’s” and “don’ts” of investing AND lending.
