Organic Flash Drive
Yes. You read the title correctly. “C’mon, organic flash drives?” you say. Well, let’s take a little trip back in time shall we. Like all the way back to when the dinosaurs were wandering around planet Earth. As large as those grotesque beings were, little did they know they would one day be entirely obliterated, left to fossilize over what scientists claim is millions of years.
And from fossils we find fossil fuels. Also labeled by some an organic substance. That’s because it’s semantics in a very weird sense. Some folks consider something organic to be anything that is comprised of a material that was once living. So beyond synthetic products like a pair of fresh off the disco floor polyester pants, a lot of what we utilize in our customized flash drives is very organic. Materials used in our durable plastic flash drive casings were once living, finding its origin in the oozing fossil fuels. Even the metal flash drives are comprised of matter traceable to the ol’ periodic table of elements no doubt. Right down to the ink used to give the organic flash drives the customized look, organic is an accurate term when talking about pretty much all of the materials used in the manufacturing of CFgear’s bulk flash drives for sale.
In a culture bombarded with buzz words like natural, green, environmentally friendly and, of course, organic, it’s easy to overlook the fact that most of the products on the face of the earth have roots in what was once living. Plastic comes from petroleum comes from fossil fuels comes from fossils comes from living dinosaurs. Hmmmm. Never thought of it like that did ya?
Now don’t get all organically proper on me and take this one all the way to the Supreme Court. I’m not claiming flash drives are so much as 3rd party organic certified, washed and ready to eat at your next company luncheon. All I’m trying to do is reset the “over the top” marketing that’s pulling blinders over everyone’s eyes lately.
Don’t believe me when I say our culture is really in the dark when it comes to all the marketing hype surrounding earth friendly products for sale? Well, I had to laugh the other week when I Googled solar powered clothes dryer only to find companies marketing a rope and clothes pins. Well, in reality, they aren’t misleading anyone. Heck, the sun is solar and the line is the best place to hang your cloths to allow ‘em to soak it up! What a genius but disgustingly common sense solution.
I do love our planet mucho. And I do actually happen to be the type that is particular about what I put in my body. Mostly “organic” foods at that. However, we need to take a step back and remember where we, and most everything else we see today, comes from. Then we can learn to relax just a bit and be grateful for things like flash drives that allow us to keep moving towards even more convenience and mobility. All naturally of course.
