USdeBate
Here’s to all those who tuned into the debate last Friday night. Heck, with the Nation’s greatest financial crisis since the 30’s at stake, I would hope a majority of Americans could sacrifice an hour or so in effort to gain insight into how one of the Presidents-to-be believes the problem came to be as well as how we should solve it and make sure it doesn’t happen in the future.
But the financial crisis was merely one topic. Fact is, the debate was supposed to be about Foreign Policy. In a loose way, however, our financial crisis is about just that as we already owe foreign nations billions of dollars from our irresponsible overspending.

The war was indeed a hot topic. McCain and Obama went back and forth about whether we should focus on the wonderful successes of the most recent “surge” or focus on the reality of all the mistakes in judgment that required a surge in the first place. I give both candidates credit for remaining civil throughout the debate. While some of the debate boils down to “parsing words” as McCain said, or semantics as others say, there’s no doubt these leaders are intelligent, hard working professionals at their political trade.
Funny, but I think the “details” that sometimes caused more bickering than insightful banter during the debate sparked me to recall why CFgear tends to enjoy so many kudos from folks looking for no bull pricing in response to their search on the internet for bulk flash drives for sale. FACT is, we do all we can to offer the simplest, fastest most competitively structured pricing for those in search of premium custom flash drives. We don’t complicate things when all folks want is the “real” price. We DO NOT achieve that refreshing simplicity by listing the hardware as one charge, shipping as another, packaging as another, and so on. We’re savvy enough to understand why “others” do this (to make it “seem” like the price is lower), but our customers have come to enjoy our commitment to “keeping it REAL, keeping it HONEST, and keeping it SIMPLE”.
I wish the same could be found in the political arena, especially during the debates. Our political leaders are so well versed, so intelligent, so “I need to win this point about as much as I need to make it!”, that sometimes folks like me are left dazed, confused and dare I say unimpressed after watching such brilliant minds muddle over trivial matters. But perhaps in the spirit of “debating”, that’s just the way it has to be. That doesn’t mean I have to like it though. Just as it is the case with CFgear’s customers. They choose simplicity over “oh that makes my head hurt” when it comes to pricing for branded flash drives.
I think one of the hidden comedies inevitable in every debate is the reality that prior to the event itself the experts debate over who will win the debate. And immediately following, the “experts” debate over who actually won it. If you don’t see the eency weency bit of humor in that, then I do think your funny bone needs a little rekindling.
