At CFgear we’ve spoken much about the huge growth of custom shaped 2D and 3D flash drives in 2012, and the fact that we have made a vast array of different shapes, objects, devices and images since the beginning of 2012 alone. As leaders in custom 3D flash drives, we decided to take things a step further and expand our capabilities into other raw materials to help make your custom shaped 3D flash drive be the best in the world. Here are a few examples we’ve taken from Concept to Sample to Order JUST In the first 10 weeks of 2012 and what materials we’ve used to make the custom 3D flash drive.
That’s right, when it comes to CFgear we don’t stop at something as simple as PVC plastic when it comes to being a marketing expert helping our customers deliver one of a kind products. We’ve made custom 3D metal wrenches, towers, I-beams, bullets and a host of other items. How? CFgear has mastered the art of the kiln fired molding process with patent pending technology to conform a zinc alloy/stainless steel compound into a shape hugging process, making even the most daring custom metal flash drive project a snap for CFgear.
At CFgear, we often get the chance to participate in some exciting projects that put us in airplanes and fly us around the world to exotic locations, like Japan, Canada or even sunny Florida in the middle of a cold South Dakota winter. We enjoy those opportunities and take advantage of them when we can.

At CFgear, we are noticing some interesting trends in the world of custom flash drives in 2012. The first is that the old standby models from CFgear like a Swivel, Exactmatch and Curve are maintaining their grasp as the most popular models of choice. However, the battle for the second level, and really the fastest growing market segment in the industry is really coming down to a three horse race between CFgear custom shaped flash drives, custom credit card flash drives and custom metal flash drives. All three market segments are growing around the world, and we are proud to be leading this mini “revolution” on improving awareness of what is available to our customers, as well as executing on bringing several of these new technologies to market.

At CFgear one of the groups of people we’ve become very strong partners with over the years are the schools that make up the Ivy League on the East Coast. We proudly call every school in the Ivy League a partner (customer), and in most cases, we’ve done dozens of projects for them over the years. continue
