We come all the way to Vegas to see the latest and greatest technology trends for flash drives and whaddya know. Right there on the VIP guest sign-in table was a 512MB flash drive emblazoned with the Digital Freedom brand…available as a VIP “gift” to all who made “the list”. The lovely lady (we love ya Jennifer!) workin’ the desk took one gander at us by the way and thought we for sure weren’t on “the list”. Much to her disbelief (we were looking a bit frazzled and ironically enough “not so flashy” due to a day of traveling and, ok ok, one eency weency drink) our names were there alright. So we proceeded to scrutinize the custom usb drives until we had to explain the cause of our euuuuu’ing and awwwww’ing. We told “still shocked from us being on the list” Jennifer that we were custom flash drive gurus and she immediately displayed a look on her face as if to say, “Welcome to the club”.

And just to warn everyone about our first day at the Consumer Electronics Show, we never exactly made it into the show today. Most of the day was spent getting to “the Show” only to find out that the Registrations Booths weren’t open later afternoon as claimed in our brochure – arggggh!

But we sure lived large on the coat tails of Digital Freedom in the Palms Casino Hardwood Suite. My low-fi, but sneak peek look. I have one word for that room, er, suite – yagaaaaagaaaagooooo! Tremendously perfect food, drinks and entertainment abound this beautiful Suite too! In fact, the singing of Jonathan Coulton, Samantha Murphy…and the DJ’n of DJ Lady Miss Kier (of Deee-Lite) was to me more splentabulous than the space itself.

Flash drives are very much on the mind and we’re excited to see what trends such as Ford and Microsoft’s new Sync technology will affect the already exponentially growing market of flash drive users.
