The privacy of a home or work computer is something most users take very seriously. Many of us store important financial, personal, and professional information on our hard drives with the expectation that our data is safe and secure from other users or malicious spyware or adware. Unfortunately, this is not always the case, especially if the computer is used by more than one person.
One way to keep private information secure is to store the files on an external flash drive which can be easily transported and kept in a safe location. Flash drives can hold large amounts of data and can be inconspicuously accessed through any computer's USB port. Keeping sensitive information such as bank records, passwords, personal family documents, and business contacts on a flash drive gives you control over who sees your private information and how it is used.
